Our small but well equipped workshop at Greystones House is available to members Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
We are mostly retired men in the 60 to 80 age group with 30+ members all interested in making and fixing (or just talking about) things in a workshop environment. We have a good selection of hand tools, small power tools, wood and metal working lathes, bench drills, band saws etc together with lots of advice and enthusiasm!
Popular activities include wood work, wood carving, wood turning, up-cycling and general repairs and members can work on their own projects, help with community projects or just drop in for a chat and a cup of tea!
We have a general meeting on the first Tuesday afternoon of each month starting at 2.00 pm in Greystones House, and once a month we all meet at the Mudeford Club in Stanpit for lunch and a drink.
Contact: John on 07547 922 246, email (Click here) or just call in to the workshop on a Tuesday or Thursday morning and see what we do.
