Take A35 towards Lyndhurst. At Rhinefield crossroads TL onto Ornamental Drive, continue to Bolderwood CP approx. 2.4 miles. Alternately go further along A35 to The Swan and TL, go along approx. 0.4 mile to New Forest Inn and turn L, follow this road for approx. 3 miles up to CP. This is a wider better road than the Ornamental Drive.

Walk about 3.5 miles, maybe muddy in places but mainly on gravel tracks. Downhill and uphill sections. Coffee stop in middle.
