Ramble – Ashley Heath, Watchmoor Wood and Castleman Trailway (New Walk)

Meet – Moors Valley Country Park, BH24 2RT, in Car park ‘Hazel’, [the last car park on the left just before exiting the main circular car parking area). Take A388 North to Ashley Heath Roundabout. Go straight across roundabout over busy A35 on to Horton Road towards Three Legged Cross & follow signs to ‘Moors Valley Country Park’ which is on RHS 1.5 miles west along Horton Road. Parking is £1.70 using a ticketless barrier system, with number plate recognition – pay anytime. The technical difficulty is “easy”. It is suitable for the wet weather season with all tracks and trails providing all weather access, using normal walking boots so good even if really wet.

Walks start at 1000hrs and are about 5 miles, unless otherwise stated. Any alterations will be advised to members by email. Contact the walk leader or above if you have any queries. New members to our friendly group always welcome, although dogs, unfortunately, not allowed.
