Meet – Branksome Chine CP, Ref 065/897 Sat Nav BH13 6JP. Winter Charge £2.80 all day. Take A338/Wessex Way towards Bournemouth. Pass under Richmond Hill roundabout and go straight across next Bournemouth West roundabout. Continue on single carriageway to County Gates Gyratory with Liverpool Victoria Offices (formerly Frizzells) at its centre. Take left nearside lane marked by Sand Castle symbol and leave the Gyratory at the 2nd exit into The Avenue B3065. Pass through traffic lights & continue to sea front. CP on LHS at bottom of the hill before RH bend. Toilets & beach front cafe. The 5.5 mile walk is mostly good underfoot & ideal when the countryside maybe sodden. Route includes several sets of steps which are not overly demanding and all have handrails.
