Meet – Mudeford Cricket Ground play area, Ref 175/923, junction of Pauntley Street (BH23 3JL) and Warren Avenue, Mudeford. Park in either Pauntley Street or, if needing the cricket ground toilets, Ledbury Road (BH23 3LB) L off Pauntley Street if coming via Highcliffe. Walk is approx 4 miles. Includes Mudeford Sailing Club & the old Stanpit golf course, but “the secret part” (a bit off the beaten track) is a quite challenging section involving a stile, walking through marsh reeds, and across narrow railway sleepers under the watchful eyes of the marsh ponies. If it is wet, or has recently been wet, advise waterproof boots or wellies.
