Ramblers – Studland Walk

Approximately 6 miles.

Meet – NT car park beside Banks Arms at Studland, Post Code BH193AU at 1030hrs

Via Sandbanks ferry, drive straight along the road for about 4 miles, passing Knowle Beach CP on LHS. Then approx 1 mile on at start of Studland village TL & almost immediately TR at the pond. Go along this road for a few hundred metres & TR at T junction. CP is approx 100m on RHS. This is a NT car park so if you are not a Member you will have to pay

Alternatively, via Wareham. Go along the A35 Upton Bypass & TL at roundabout at end of road towards Wareham. Carry on thro’ Sandford (beware of speed camera!) for a long way through Wareham & out the other side going toward Swanage. At Corfe Castle TL & continue for approx 7 miles until arrive at Studland village. Go almost thru village & Turn R at a triangular roundabout & immediately TR again at the pond.  Then as above.

It’s unusual to have to wear boots, just heavy trainers, unless the weather has been absolutely wet. I will be wearing trainers regardless. Walk is about 6 miles with one long climb. Bring lunch if you want otherwise you can use the Banks Arms (I think it’s very expensive)
