For your information here is a list of some of our most frequently asked questions, if your question is not answered here or give us a call during office hours of 9:00am to 16:00pm.

What parking is available at the Community Association?

Parking is available, but not solely for HCA usage; at busy periods, double-parking is allowed alongside the wall of the building, but please notify the receptionist if you park in this way so that you can be traced if you are needed to move you car.

Street-parking is available, but do check parking signs first!

There is a large public car park at the Cliff Top Car Park (adjacent to Highcliffe beach) about 200 yards from the Community Association

How much does it cost to join the Association?

The annual membership fee is £10 (£2 for junior members under the age of 17 years); to participate in any Section there is a £2 annual fee, together with a £1 charge for each meeting of that Section

What clubs can I join?

You can join any of the 45 clubs, although some may have a waiting list. Contact the relevant Section to enquire as to whether there is a waiting list, or whether you can join immediately. A full list of clubs is listed under Activities

What events are coming up in the near future?

A diary of events can be found under the “Events tab” on the front page of the website. This will not normally include regular events organised by each Section

Is the library open on Saturdays?

Unfortunately not; the library is open Monday to Friday inclusive during normal opening hours.

Does the Community Association have access for people with disabilities?

Yes. There is ramp-access for wheelchairs, and a lift within the building able to cater for wheelchair users together with a carer.
