August Break
The Centre will re-open after the break on Tuesday 1st September 2026
We have 45 clubs under our umbrella and meet in a grade 2* listed building with views to the Isle of Wight.
We sing, dance, play cards, petanque, table tennis, we have art and crafts and much more.
We are run by volunteers and we would welcome you to our community.
Yet another full house was entertained to a stimulating selection of questions by quiz-master Mike Caruana assisted by his “Harem of Helpers”, namely Cheryl, Marian, and Thelma. The winners of the quiz were Team “CRAFT“, with Team “EDUCATION LTD.” only half a point behind! Joining the “Wooden Spoon Club” were Team “6 AGAINST the REST“.…
This popular event continues to play to a full house. It was good to see some new faces together with many familiar ones. Thanks to Mike, Cheryl, and Thelma for all their hard work behind (and in front of) the scenes, together with Jan and Brian who always are instrumental in making the quiz so…
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped in any way to make the Jigsaw Fayre weekend a success – without your support this event would not have been possible.
Card and Board games such as Bridge, Chess, Canaster, Cribbage, Whilst and more. Lots of variety.
Do you like a good discussion? We have four forums for you to discuss and debate current affairs and more.
Our friendly social group has two sections, Ramblers who enjoy longer walks and Amblers who like a slower pace and shorter distances.
Come along to one of our dance classes or compete on our Petanque courts. Go for “180” at Darts, or try your hand at Carpet Bowls!
Facilities include wifi, free car parking, coffee shop, disabled access, kitchen and more.
