• All events CANCELLED for the foreseeable future.
  • Greystones CLOSED due to the Coronavirus pandemic

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation we have been advised by the Charity Commission that we can delay the AGM. We will of course have an AGM when it is permissible to regather. Notification of the date etc. will be given when appropriate.

1.   MEMBERSHIP UPDATE – July 20th 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions no renewal of membership has been possible. As a consequence the Executive Committee have extended all current memberships until the end of 31st March 2021.

When membership renewal is possible the current fee of £10 will take membership through to 31st March 2022. This effectively means that HCA membership will be Free of Charge until then.

2.   CLOSURE UPDATE – July 20th 2020

The current Government regulations pertaining to COVID-19 prevent HCA re-opening. As such Greystones House and associated activity remains closed until further notice. Further updates will be made when appropriate.

3.  SITUATIONS VACANT – July 20th 2020

HCA urgently requires a Buildings/Premises Manager to oversee the continued maintenance of Greystones House. The position is voluntary and responsibilities will include:-

  • Reviewing the building for any repairs required
  • Liaising with suppliers of maintenance services
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance is undertaken by service suppliers (e.g. Lift / Boilers)
  • Liaising with the management committee on the finances
