Earlier in the year the Church Section approached the Trustees with a request to apply for Charitable status in their own right; after long and detailed discussions, and seeking legal advice, the Trustees concluded that this would not be in the best interest of HCA.
We had a face to face meeting with their representatives and could not reach an amicable outcome of the situation. After further discussing the matter the trustees Informed the section that if they wished to continue with the application for Charitable Status they could no longer be a section within HCA, but would be welcome to be part of HCA as a section without Charitable Status.
We wish them well for the future in their new venue.
