Friday 25th. September saw the opening of what used to be The Coffee Lounge, thanks to a most-generous donation from the estate of Daisy Winterton which has seen a total re-vamp of both the coffee lounge and the kitchen.
The formal opening was overseen by Daisy’s niece, Trudi, who informed the gathered audience of Daisy’s wish that Highcliffe Community Association should continue to benefit the locality.
The kitchen was filled with cakes to go with the teas and coffees!
The unveiling begins with the new name.
Then onto the unveiling of the plaque.
And thank goodness Colin was there doing what he does better than anyone!
